Welcome once again to the Monday afternoon edition of "Cover to Cover." I'm your host on most Mondays, Denny
Smithson and I'm delighted to have as my guest today a local author. Margaret Benshoof-Holler has written a book called
Burning of the Marriage Hat: A Novel of High Plains Women. Published by Wind Women Press of San Francisco.
Margaret grew up in Wyoming during the 50s and 60s. She's worked as a stringer and freelance writer and op ed columnist
for newspapers and magazines. In addition to her journalism work, she also writes fiction and poetry. She lived and taught in
Boulder, Colorado, Jakarta, Indonesia, Malmo, Sweden, and Madrid, Spain before moving to San Francisco where she writes and
teaches at City College of San Francisco. Burning of the Marriage Hat is her first book.
