Colorado
A chinook wind blows down Boulder Canyon in the winter.
It brings with it warmer weather. Deep snow may fall
in Boulder one day during the winter. The next, it
feels like springtime.
A bike path skirts the
University of Colorado campus and winds down along
Boulder Creek. The Flatirons loom to the southwest of downtown Boulder. One can hike
along the many trails at the base and up into the hills.
One can study modern dance or poetics at or
Naropa Institute. Also check out
Allen Ginsberg memorial.
One can go to the Boulder Mall and remember how
things used to be when the the New York Deli and the
Colorado Health Food Store dominated the west end of
the mall. The
Boulder Book Store is still there.
One can go backpacking or cross-country skiing near
Rollinsville, Estes
Park or Rocky
Mountain National Park in the mountains west of
Boulder.
